I was on my way home and noticed how beautiful the mountains were as the sun was settings, and the storm clouds that had dropped a couple of inches of snow the day before were just clearing up. I raced home (under the speed limit of course), about 5 minutes away, hoping that the lighting would still be great by the time I returned with my camera. I was lucky in that by the time I got back, the lighting was still good - not as good as a few minutes earlier, but at least good enough to photograph.
